Delivered from the Powers of Darkness: Yes, America Is Tearing Itself Apart - The Masses Do Not Want To Understand Economics And They Will Pay Dearly For That Ignorance In The Coming Day

Americans that have only known the post WWII prosperity are ill equipped and educated to deal with depression level living. Easy credit and instant gratification have created a nation of whining, self absorbed, entitlement minded people with no moral or mental toughness.

I believe we are headed for what he calls a super depression created by the ending of a debt super cycle. The bigger the debt cycle the bigger the depression that follows. That’s how reality works and most people are not prepared for reality.

When this depression, which has already started, gets momentum, it will overwhelm the plans of a society that is expecting to get things like social security, pensions and payouts from retirement plans they have paid into for many years. All of those things will disappear almost overnight and leave society gasping and stupefied over what to do. Their reactions will be to yell and scream and try to identify who to blame but the only person they should blame is the one in the mirror.

Many very smart people have raised the alarm and done their best to warn the sleeping public, but those slumbering masses have ignored the warnings and hit the snooze button one more time. The masses do not understand economics, do not want to understand economics and they will pay dearly for that ignorance in the coming days.

When the real unemployment rate becomes common knowledge as it increases substantially, people will be left to survive on what resources they have saved up outside the banking system that cannot be stolen by the politicians and bankers. That is a key point here. The assets you have outside the system that cannot be stolen from you with a few key strokes on some computer.

Those hoping for some miraculous event that will send the U.S. back to the days of manufacturing might and jobs for all will never see it happen. Those days are gone. The west line theory tells us our economy will slow down and become more modest as the shipping center of the world moves west to the next powerhouse region which is Asia. This is what history teaches us.

When people suddenly wake up one morning and they have no job, their retirement is gone and they need to care for their family, what will they do? When government services have collapsed and they suddenly realize they are now living in a third world country with few government services, what will they do? When the banks are closed and only a select few connected people have any type of money or access to goods, what will they do?

This is the reality that many people will face in the future and they have no idea how bad it can get. They refuse to contemplate the harsh reality they will be living in and take steps to mitigate the effects. To do so would be to acknowledge it could happen and they are taking personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is a dirty phrase in today’s entitlement society. To see some of the effects one only has to look at the collapse of society in Venezuela today to see what awaits.

When it happens it will all fall back to you to take responsibility for your family and take care of them for the duration. To do that you need to plan now for that eventuality and build up the resources you will need to provide food, shelter, clothing and security when the system fails to do it for you. You need to be Noah on his ark not the people watching as he floated away.

Having resources stored up is a must but it may not get you all the way through if the situation lasts for many years. That is why you need some type of plan to replace those resources as time goes by and have some way to generate some type of income or at least items to trade. Usable goods are for the short term and things like gold ,silver and production equipment are for the long term to help you get through the crisis with the least amount of pain.

Even with proper planning the days ahead will not be easy as the standard of living of society will fall substantially to levels only seen in failed third world countries or old pictures. The assets actually owned by people today is very small compared to how they live. They will default on their home loan, their car loan, and their credit card debt leaving them with very few real possessions and few ways to move what they have left even if they have some place to go. Ultimately these people will become the new serfs to the wealthy class that will take possession of anything of value. Feudalism will once again rule.

The lack of planning by society will make this a reality if it is allowed.

It seems like people don’t actually want democracy anymore, they want a dictator who agrees with them.

The choice is, do you and I consume what is here now and change the planet to something unknown and different for the next generations?

Or do you and I slow our consumption to a regenerative rate, ensuring the same planet we live on now is here for the generations to come?

This is a personal choice.

It isn’t something an outside party, such as the government is going to fix.

You and I are the consumers. You and I are the ones making the choices.

What choice will you and I make in the future? They will be governed by Climate change.

You will not find these choices in the cloud.

I believe in the next ten years, science will prove that too much technology (e.g. heads always in our phones) is actually a negative thing for the mind and longevity.

I believe we’ll be forced by climate change to find a sustainable balance between technology use and real-life experiences.

All too often, problems being solved in tech are first world problems.

Many of us forget that there are some huge global problems, particularly in the developing world, that need to be solved for the benefit of us all.

But we have to take charge soon and make it so.

UNFORTUNATELY, OUR HISTORICAL FOOTPRINT TELL US THAT THIS IS A TOTAL IMPOSSIBILITY.

Dark Winter Has Begun: the Worst Economic Catastrophe Ever Happened in the U.S. Since the Great Depression of the 1930s Millions of Americans Are Expected to Lose Their Homes

The great depression was a time of intense fear and uncertainty for America – and the world. The economy was completely destroyed. Families struggled to survive through sickness, poverty, and hunger.

Unemployment and homelessness skyrocketed. Food was scarce and finding creative ways to make meals stretch and last longer was the only way to secure steady meals for your family.

While we all have high hopes of never seeing an economic crisis of this magnitude in our lifetimes, people who lived during the great depression know to never say never. This is probably because people who survived that time didn’t think it could happen to them either.

The cost of food has increased 8.3 percent globally in the past year alone. Here in the USA, prices for groceries have risen by almost 11 percent. Seeing National food prices soar to the highest they’ve been in 40 years is enough to make anyone look for practical ways to stretch their meals further.

One of the best things we can do now is look to the past at how our ancestors stretched their food during some of the hardest times in history. If they can do it, we certainly can too.

These food-stretching strategies will give you the freedom to need less, waste less, and make more with what you have.

Reuse Cooking Liquid Instead Of Throwing It Away

Some foods cooked in water are as good as liquid gold.

When you boil corn cobs, for example, the remaining water is full of vitamin B, folic acid, and iron.

You can use it as a soup base or for making a compost tea for your garden.

Some people enjoy the taste of corn water alone or drink it for its alleged benefits for the hair, skin, and nails. It’s even said that corn water can increase energy and fend off anemia.

Potato water is another great and reusable cooking liquid. You can use potato water to make gravy without using any other thickeners.

To do this, just add a bit of potato water to some fat or pan drippings and stir until it thickens. As you enjoy your gravy, take pride in knowing that you created something delicious from scraps most people would have thrown away.

Corn and potato water aren’t the only cooking waters you can use though. You can also use rice water, bean water, beet water, pasta water, bones, tuna can water, and many others.

Get creative and try new things. Just be sure to use the water within a day or so to prevent the risk of fermentation. However, if you know how to safely can or ferment foods, you can add that to your food stretching skillset too.

Learn Food Preservation Techniques

Food preservation techniques are great skills to learn when trying to stretch your meals.

When your produce supply is starting to look a little rough around the edges, you can increase the nutrient content and lengthen its shelf life by fermenting it.

Eating fermented foods aids digestion, boosts nutrient bioavailability, and promotes the production of healthy bacteria in your gut.

This can help keep your immune system in good shape in a time that could bring sickness and malnutrition.

During the great depression though, canning and drying foods at home was a big hit. Home-canned food kept families fed during much of this period.

Having a good grasp on safe preservation methods like canning, fermenting, dehydrating, and drying will make you that much more prepared in the event of an economic crisis like the great depression.

Bulk Up Your Meats With Fillers

When meat is too expensive or hard to find in stores, you may need to get comfortable with needing less of it. Meat prices have risen significantly in the past year.

To stretch meat portions, mix it with foods like oats, barley, lentils, rice, beans, and vegetables to add bulk.

During the great depression, meatless loaves — made with little to no actual meat — were a very popular dish.

Some great depression-era meatless loaf recipes appear to use everything and anything they had on hand.

Popular ingredients included peanuts, carrots, beans, pickles, raisins, potatoes, spices, stale bread, and just about anything else they could find.

Cut Portion Sizes

Unfortunately, learning to need less food will be one of the biggest setbacks for the modern western person if they’re ever faced with a crisis.

During troubled times it will be physically more difficult for some people to give up the three meals a day they’ve become accustomed to.

Depending on who you ask, the three-meal-per-day norm was dubbed the standard after European settlers came to America out of a desire to ritualize eating habits to separate humans from grazing animals. Other sources point to the 40-hour work week and the industrial revolution as the culprit.

At any rate, our biological, normal appetite – in other words, eating when you’re actually feeling hungry – is not only a much healthier way of living, but it may become less of a choice and more of a necessity one day.

Learning to take natural hunger cues from your body instead of training your body to feel hungry on a set schedule will help you need less and consequently, have more.

Save Bones For Later Use

It always makes me wince a little when I see someone trimming the fat and bones only to throw them right in the trash. You can use meat animal bones to make so many different food items.

You can throw them in a pot of boiling water for a few hours to make a rich bone broth.

Once the broth cools, skim the fat layer from the top to keep for cooking. Depending on the bone type, you can even suck the marrow for a fast nutrient boost or use it as you would with butter on bread.

To preserve your bone broth, you can freeze or pressure-can it for future use. Bones kept in an airtight bag and placed in the freezer can last up to 6 months. Sometimes, you can find stock bones at your local butcher or grocery store so you don’t have to bother with freezing.

Once you’re done boiling your bones to make broth and solidified fat, you can still get even more use out of them. Grind them to make bone meal or grist for your garden and other projects.

Save Fats

Fat trimmings are as valuable as bones, if not more so.

For example, bacon grease is arguably the easiest fat to render, but most people are missing out by throwing it away.

You can use it as you would with butter or cooking oil.

It stores nicely in the refrigerator for anywhere from 3 months to a year. For those not fond of relying on refrigeration, you can keep strained bacon grease at room temperature for up to a month. However, other rendered fats — such as tallow, lard, and ghee — can be pressure-canned for longer storage.

Some folks like to collect and freeze fat trimmings overtime. Still, unless you’re lucky enough to have an icehouse, there’s always the risk of your fat going rancid in a power outage.

To avoid this, it’s a good idea to buy cuts of meat with a lot of fat you can use all at once. You can also ask your butcher if they will save extra fat trimmings for you. They’ll likely be very happy to get rid of it.

Once you have enough, you can render the fat to make cracklings, schmaltz, pork lard, and beef tallow. You can use rendered fat in candle making, soap making, cooking, waterproofing, medicinal salves, and more.

Buy Organ Meats And Other “Undesirable” Cuts

If you don’t want to give up the health benefits of eating red meat, consider buying the cuts no one seems to want.

Most of the time, these are the healthier cuts with the highest protein and essential nutrient content.

For example, one serving of beef liver has over 20g of protein.

It also has high amounts of vitamins B and A, iron, copper, and phosphorous.

Traditionally, unwanted cuts get a bad reputation as they take more effort to prepare in a way that tastes good.

The history of soul food in America is one of many examples of how lesser cuts – when properly prepared and slowly cooked – are some of the most deliciously tender meats around. Knowing this, it can be argued that underrated cuts might actually have the biggest flavor potential.

Aside from beef liver, learning how to properly cook with offal meats like tongue, brain, feet, stomach, hearts, and other such foods is an underrated and valuable survival skill.

Learn To Forage Near Your Home

You’d be surprised how many palatable, nutritious foods are outside waiting to be harvested. The biggest problem is that most people dismiss them as weeds or think they’re unsafe to eat.

Once we take the time to learn about the edible wild plants in our area though, a whole new world opens up for us.

In the Ozarks region of the US for example, you can find wild ginger, dandelions, watercress, elderberries, leeks, mushrooms, and more by simply walking outside your front door.

In contrast, dryer regions such as the Sonoran Desert in Arizona have prickly pear fruit, nopales, amaranth, agave, and wildflowers, just to name a few. These are all freely available edible foods that most people overlook.

When you learn about safe foraging practices and learn what grows in your area, you can always find ways to supplement and bulk up your food supply.

During the Great Depression, life wasn’t easy. Yet, some people who survived chose to live the rest of their lives with the same frugality — even though the depression ended. In fact, some Great Depression era recipes are still passed down to younger generations today.

We may or may not experience similar hardships in our lifetimes, but it’s never a bad idea to work toward making what you have go further. When we learn how to stretch food like our grandmothers and great-grandmothers did, we learn how to need less and do more with what we have.

We Are Still Locked Down: All Our Worst Suspicions Have Been Confirmed. We Still Await the Covid Files but Let There Be No Doubt About What They Will Show in Grim Detail

Consider just how fortunate we are to have the Twitter Files. Every few days, we are seeing dumps of documents from the operations of Twitter before Elon Musk took over. This weekend’s release was especially shocking. It revealed a close and symbiotic relationship between the company’s management and the FBI, which employs 80 people to police social networks and flag posts. They aren’t looking for crime. They were focused on wrongthink on matters of politics.

In other words, all our worst suspicions have been confirmed. We still await the Covid files but let there be no doubt about what they will show in grim detail. Twitter worked with government to throttle the reach and searchability of accounts that took issue with the main messaging of the CDC/HHS from early in lockdowns to the present. We already knew that Facebook had deleted 7 million posts in the second quarter of 2020. Twitter pulled some 10,000 accounts down.

Twitter is now mostly open, for now. The rest of the venues remain wholly controlled. Brownstone has posts tagged, throttled, and sometimes deleted from LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and it is a constant struggle to avoid Google’s own push against our content. Even ridiculous sites with no credibility or reach appear high in search engines when our content is searched. This is not an algorithm at work.

On this basis alone, it is fair to say that we are still in lockdown nearly three years later. The point of such top-down censorship is not only to control the public mind. It is also to keep all of us from finding each other. It truly did work for a very long time. It took nearly a year for the group that we now know as the anti-lockdown movement to form. Even when Brownstone was founded, I had not known about Justin Hart’s Rational Ground. Now of course we work closely together.

The impact of all this work to keep us apart has been huge. It’s why those of us who resisted from the very beginning felt so very alone, and we could not understand why. Were we going crazy? What is wrong with people that they seem not to be objecting to having their schools and churches closed? Why was the media demonizing people for wanting to get haircuts? Whatever happened to the Bill of Rights and why does no one seem even to be complaining about what was happening?

Let us pause to explore the meaning of lockdown. We often hear now that the US never did lock down, as ridiculous as that sounds. Epidemiologist Jay Bhattacharya grew so tired of hearing this claim that he formulated a definition: any government policy that seeks to keep people physically separate under the excuse that doing so mitigates against some crisis. This would include claims, for example, that other people are biohazards, and would include fear-mongering propaganda, and much else.

Think back to March 16, 2020 in the White House press conference when Deborah Birx summed up the whole theme of the day. “We really want people to be separated at this time, to be able to address this virus,” she said. If you think about it, that is surely among the most draconian demands ever made by any government against its people. It means the abolition of freedom and society too. It’s utterly astonishing, and yet the media gathered there just nodded heads as if this were completely normal.

Part of the mandatory separation – part of the lockdown – was information control to keep people who opposed what was happening from finding each other. This trick truly did work because all our usual methods for digital socializing came to be nationalized overnight. We did not know this because there was no real announcement but it was nonetheless real. We had come to rely on social media to give us a sense of the public mind but that came to an end during the most shocking policies ever imposed on so many Americans. And the policy happened all over the world except for one state and about 5 nations.

The lockdown included information control and that was crucial. As for the possibility of hearing the opinions of others, we also faced egregious stay-at-home orders and limits on the numbers of people who could even enter our own homes. I’ve not seen a complete study on what happened but in Western Massachusetts where I was at the time, no more than 10 people were allowed to meet in one setting. Thus no weddings, funerals, or large house parties. Private citizens became so zealous in their enforcement of this that they would fly drones over communities to look for cars bunched up and rat out the address to the local media. This truly did happen.

Only now do we see the larger point. It was to prohibit an opposition from forming and to gaslight the whole population into thinking that everyone was going along with this, since this was nothing but “common sense public health measures.” Anthony Fauci told us this many times. This might also have contributed to the huge decline in the health of the population. People lost a sense of hope and turned to substance abuse and overeating. Gyms were closed and so were all in-person AA meetings. The lockdowns contributed as much as 40 percent to the overall excess deaths in that year alone.

Eventually of course many things opened up but unvaccinated visitors from other countries are still not allowed in, which is an outrage. I have a conductor friend from the UK who has constant invitations to conduct in the US but he is simply not allowed into the country. For three years now!

Question: have we really ever left lockdowns? We are far less free today and far more censored. Twitter is an aberration among the major tech platforms. Media is controlled too. But for Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and few others, plus the mighty Epoch Times, where would we even get our news? And thank goodness for Substack, which has allowed so many writers and researchers to have an outlet. The point is that these are all lights peeking through a darkness that is still being imposed from above. Which is to say: the emergency for human liberty is still with us.

They wanted to keep us separate, and the excuse was a virus. The rule of separation (and the stickers are still everywhere in this country) was truly to keep us apart. One of the most powerful books to come out of our era is Naomi Wolf’s The Bodies of Others. The core theory was that separating humans from other humans was the whole point: to take away our social connection and the possibility of living a dignified life of our own choosing. The only beneficiaries to the policy were tech, media, and government. Her book is a classic for the ages.

Part of this separation included the attack on small business and traditional commerce. The word commerce comes from commercium in Latin, a word that figured prominently in a composed verse from medieval Christianity that became a much-loved motet: O Admirabile Commercium. The point is to draw attention to the exchange between time and eternity as instantiated in the incarnation that Christmas celebrates.

Commerce has long been the meeting place for humans to form social order. Trade means mutual benefit, finding value in each other. That it came under such severe attack makes sense from the point of view of a ruling class that was attacking human association at its root.

Even today, we are having difficulty finding each other and are relieved when we do so. I was struck by this during the Brownstone holiday party a few days ago. There we were all together, the room filled with incredibly energy, everyone toasting friendship and connection, smiles everywhere, a profound sense of gratitude for the physical space that allowed us to meet and eat, all of us knowing full well that we went months and even a year and longer when we could not do this by order of government edict. Just discovering each other, and sharing tales and ideas, amounts to an act of defiance.

Two Christmases came and went when we were told that meeting and celebrating the season was a biohazard and not recommended. In some places, it was forbidden. It’s hard to imagine a more grim policy and it still shocks us to think back and realize that it was all deliberate. One means to reverse this horror is simple: find friends, celebrate together, share stories and ideals, promote peace and love, and work to rebuild what we have lost.

Pentagon Profiteers: Executive Compensation In The Arms Industry - IT IS A QUESTIONABLE PRACTICE THAT UNDERSCORES THE FACT THAT TOO OFTEN IN THE DEFENSE SECTOR, SELF-INTEREST TRUMPS THE NATIONAL INTEREST.

If Congress has its way, funding for the Department of Defense and related work on nuclear weapons at the Department of Energy will reach more than $850 billion in Fiscal Year 2023, far higher than spending at the height of the Cold War or the peak years of the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. While advocates of spending these enormous sums often argue that the money is needed to “support the troops,” more than half of the Pentagon’s yearly budget goes to private contractors, many of whom are making hefty profits at taxpayer expense while producing flawed products at exorbitant prices. One telling example of how these companies waste taxpayer dollars is how much they pay their top executives.

In 2021, the most recent year for which full figures are available, the top five weapons makers – Lockheed MartinLMT 0.0%, BoeingBA +0.5%, Raytheon, General DynamicsGD -0.7%, and Northrop GrummanNOC +0.5% – received over $116 billion in Pentagon contracts while paying their top two dozen executives a total of $287 million, according to data from the the Pentagon and company proxy statements. The CEOs of the top five contractors received compensation ranging from $18 million to $23 million each, including James Taiclet of Lockheed Martin, $18.1 million; David Calhoun of Boeing, $21.1 million; Gregory Hayes of Raytheon, $21.8 million; Phebe Novakovic of General Dynamics, $23.5 million; and Kathy Warden of Northrop Grumman, $19.9 million.

Since these firms receive a large share of their revenue from U.S. government contracts, much of this excessive executive compensation is essentially subsidized by the taxpayers. The figure for dependency on government contracts range from roughly half for Boeing (49%) and Raytheon (48%) to roughly three-quarters or more for Lockheed Martin (71%), General Dynamics (70%), and Northrop Grumman (85%). Huge CEO compensation does nothing to advance the defense of the United States and everything to enrich a small number of individuals.

It is useful to put the $287 million the top five contractors pay their top executives in some perspective. In the national security arena, average arms industry CEO pay of $21 million is 95 times the $221,000 that an active duty general makes, and 463 times the $45,000 in pay and allowances made by a beginning enlistee in the armed forces.

As expected, CEO pay at the Top Five also far exceeds the median pay of their own employees. At Lockheed Martin the ratio of CEO compensation to median worker salary is 164 to 1, compared to 169 to 1 at Boeing, 208 to 1 at Raytheon, 254 to 1 at General Dynamics, and 166 to 1 at Northrop Grumman.

Another way to understand the size of CEO compensation at the big contractors is to look at how many jobs would be created if that $287 million were spent on something else. The answer is that spending that money on productive activities would create thousands of jobs: 2,812 jobs in clean energy or infrastructure; 4,104 jobs in health care; and 4,362 in education, calculated using data on the jobs impact of government spending generated by Heidi Peltier for the Brown Costs of War Project.

A large portion of the compensation package of most arms industry executives comes from stock options. Therefore, they have a personal incentive to try to boost company share prices, by whatever means necessary. Doing so by improving company performance is one thing, but that is not the only method employed. As Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has noted, rather than investing in research, plant, equipment, or employee compensation during a period of high cash flow and ample profits, top weapons making firms have spent tens of billions of dollars buying back their own shares. This boosts stock prices, but does not result in better equipment for members of the armed forces or spur innovation in the development of future systems. It is a questionable practice that underscores the fact that too often in the defense sector, self-interest trumps the national interest.

Defense executives wouldn’t be able to earn multi-million dollar salaries if their companies weren’t grabbing billions in Pentagon contract awards. In the run up to the 2022 midterm elections, the arms industry was working overtime to curry favor with candidates from both parties, with a tilt towards Republicans (56% of contributions) over Democrats (43% of contributions) in keeping with predictions that Republicans would take over one or both houses of Congress in the November 2022 vote. In addition to campaign contributions, the industry spent over $100 million on lobbying in just the first three quarters of 2022. And the top recipients of arms company donations were members with the most power to determine how high the Pentagon budget will go in Fiscal Year 2023 and beyond. According to research by Open Secrets, top recipients of defense industry largesse were Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL), who is in line to take over the chair of the House Armed Services Committee in January 2023, and Rep. Ken Calvert, who will likely chair the defense subcommittee of House appropriations. They received $444,400 and $390,750, respectively, in the 2022 election cycle.

The industry gives money to members best placed to help them secure taxpayer dollars. Thirteen of the top fifteen recipients are on the armed services or appropriations committee of their respective chamber. And in addition to incoming armed services and defense appropriations chairs Mike Rogers and Ken Calvert, the current leaders of those bodies – Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) and Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN) – are also in the top 15 recipients of defense sector funding. Other key players include Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA), who was defeated in the November elections but was a leader in the runup to the elections in efforts to add tens of billions of dollars to the Pentagon budget beyond what the department even asked for; Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA), a consistent advocate for more funding for the Virginia-based Newport News Shipyard; and Rep. Joe Courtney (D-CT), booster for General Dynamics’ Groton, Connecticut Electric Boat submarine plant. Wittman and Courtney are co-chairs of the Congressional Shipbuilding Caucus.

Executive compensation is just one indicator of the problems of overspending, waste, and profiteering in the defense sector. These larger issues cannot be addressed without finding ways to reduce the political and economic power of the military-industrial complex: campaign finance and lobbying reform, measures to curb price gouging, developing economic alternatives to the dependence of key communities on weapons spending, and more. There should also be a healthy skepticism of the claim that America needs to spend more on defense when so much of it is being wasted, or determined by corporate interests rather than the national interest.

WE HAVE BEEN CLEARLY WARNED OF SUDDEN DESTRUCTION FALLING UPON US. AMERICA IS GOING TO BE DESTROYED BY FIRE! SUDDEN DESTRUCTION IS COMING AND FEW WILL ESCAPE

America is going to be destroyed by fire! Sudden destruction is coming and few will escape. Unexpectedly, and in one hour, a hydrogen holocaust will engulf America-and this nation will be no more.

It is because America has sinned against the greatest light. Other nations are just as sinful, but none are as flooded with Gospel light as ours. God is going to judge America for its violence, its crimes, its flaunting of homosexuality and sadomasochism, its corruption, its drunkenness and drug abuse, its form of godliness without power, its lukewarmness toward Christ, it’s rampant divorce and adultery, its lewd pornography, its child molestation, its cheating, its robbing, its dirty movies, and its occult practices.
In one hour it will all be over. To the natural mind it is insanity to come against a prosperous, powerful nation nation and cry out, “It’s all over! Judgment is at the door! Our days are numbered!” The church is asleep, the congregations are at ease, and the shepherds slumber. How will they scoff and laugh at this message. Theologians will reject it because they can’t fit it into their doctrine. The pillow prophets of peace and prosperity will publicly denounce it.

I no longer care. God has made my face like flint and put steel in my backbone. I am blowing the Lord’s trumpet with all my might. Let the whole world and all the church call me crazy, but I must blow the trumpet and awaken God’s people. Believe it or not, America is about to be shaken and set aside by swift and horrible judgments. Many other praying believers who have been shut in with God are hearing the very same message-“Judgment is at the door! Prepare, awaken!”

Ever since this message came to me, I I have been searching God’s Word from cover to cover. No prophecy is valid unless it is positively confirmed by God’s holy Word. I discovered in the Word, God’s pattern of judgment. Although it is true He will never again destroy the earth by flood, He does use fire. All the prophets predicted judgment by fire on nations and peoples who forsook God and became hopelessly wicked. Their prophecies were dual, directed to their generation in which they prophesied and also to future generations who committed the same crimes against God. Prophecies against Babylon and Israel were fulfilled to the letter. But many of these prophecies also refer to the “latter days,” to those who live at the end of the ages. Paul said, “Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come” (1 Corinthians 10:11).

Perhaps only the overcomers will accept and hear the sound of this trumpet blast, but I proceed with these warnings because God called me to be a watchman. I hear the Word of God to Ezekiel ringing in my ears, “Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts and set him as their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blows the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood will be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet. and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me” (Ezekiel 33:2-7)
The great eagle with great wings is about to fall from its lofty position on the highest branch of all nations. The vine that was planted “in a land of traffic, in a city of merchants, by great waters” is about to die. “It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a good vine” (Ezekiel 17:8).

God’s prophetic word from Ezekiel to Israel is also God’s word for America: “Thus saith the Lord God; Shall it prosper? Shall he not pull the roots thereof, … that it wither? It shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof … Shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it?” (Ezekiel 17:9-10).

Oh, what horrible and swift judgments are just ahead, very imminent, upon this nation that has cast aside holiness and repentance. I hear the prophets crying out, “She was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them” (Ezekiel 19:12).

Sudden Destruction Prophesied

We have been clearly warned of sudden destruction falling upon us. The prophets have all warned of a consuming fire of judgment upon a last-day people who boasted she sat as a queen in prosperity and was beyond the possibility of destruction. Isaiah warned, “For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust” (Isaiah 26:5).
John saw in a vision the destruction of one-third of the earth’s population by fire and brimstone. The enemy would have an exceeding great army and armaments which would spew “out of their mouths fire, smoke and brimstone 8Revelation 9:16-17)-which I take to mean nuclear missiles.

As a result of this fiery “issue,” one third of mankind is destroyed. “By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths” (Revelation 9:17).

In one hour it will all be gone! The stock market will burn-with all the buildings, the investments. The skyscrapers will melt; the fire of divine vengeance will turn cities into polluted wildernesses. Our government, our transportation system, our food supplies, our communications network (radio, television)-all will be lost in one hour! Read it-it’s all there! “And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller;as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word. The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in. When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as a shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done (Isaiah 24:2,3,10,13). Isaiah is clearly speaking about these latter days.

What a horrific description of a hydrogen holocaust Isaiah gives. “The foundations of the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed …” (Isaiah 24:18-20, 23).

God will “melt” America, just as He promised to do to Israel. “As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you. Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I  the Lord have poured out my fury upon you” (Ezekiel 22:20-22).
America’s cup of iniquity is full; the bear has prepared and is set to act-it is now only a matter of time. From over the North Pole the deadly missiles will come. Fear and some kind of supernatural impulse will cause the enemy to make the first strike. “For the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the Lord” (Jeremiah 51:48). They themselves will be terrorized by the destruction and havoc they unleashed upon the earth. “The Lord of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honorable  of the earth. He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the Lord hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong hold thereof (Isaiah 23:9,11).

Soon, very soon, an economic nightmare will explode into reality. What frightful news it will be! “O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness” (Jeremiah 51:13). America is about to face a time of mass hysteria, as banks close and financial institutions crumble and our economy spins totally out of control. Gold and silver will also lose their value. “They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in a day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity” (Ezekiel 7:19). The chaos that is coming cannot be stopped by our government. Ezekiel warned “The hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them” (Ezekiel 7:27). These prophecies once again reveal God’s judgmental decrees to wicked nations.
This destruction comes suddenly and without warning.

I have gone through all of the passages that speak of her coming destruction and the one aspect that comes through the loudest to me is that at the time everything is continuing as normal.  People are buying and selling and going on with life.
I mean how insane is this? Very! Because by the time America is destroyed thousands, perhaps Millions of  believers in the Most High God have been picked up out of their homes, off the roads, out of airports, out of the stores, taken to camps and murdered and eliminated through not only martial law, but for refusing to worship the image of the beast as stated in Revelation 13:15.

It makes you just have to stop and ask what? This is the ultimate degradation of our country when the Satanic freaks and the Antichrist and his False Prophet will be sitting snug with the blood of millions of civilians on their hands grinning from ear to ear and boom! God’s judgment is on them so fast they can’t react or even defend themselves! Serves them right.

So as you read this, don’t weep for America. The America we grew up in, the America we thought we were fighting to establish for Him, has long been gone. And by the time the Lord’s judgment is come on this land it will be for justice! Of course if it happened today it would be well deserved. But there are many more abominations to come in this country and then His final judgment will come.

Is the Purge Real in America? For One Night of the Year People Can Do Whatever They Want Without the Restriction of Rules or Laws

The Purge – it is a concept where laws stop being enforced and the crazies of the world let loose and do whatever they want without consequence. But it has happened before, and it was exactly what you expect, murder, chaos, and complete anarchy, as society saw the worst in people.

If you haven’t heard of The Purge, it is a popular film series wherein for one night of the year people can do whatever they want without the restriction of rules or laws. Basically, for 12 hours, anything goes, and is supported by the government due to crime rates dropping, population control and revenue from weapons and security.

But what if the purge happened in real life? Well, it did. In Espirito Santo, Brazil, where police went on strike and the murder rate climbed by 650% in just three days.

Let’s take a look at what happened in that version of the Purge, and see what would happen and how to survive in a real-life purge.

The Brazil Purge: Three days of anarchy

For me, I always like to think that in tough times, people would work together to pull through. I have seen this happen in natural disaster cleanups and flood recovery efforts, where communities have banded together to volunteer and help clean up, repair, and share supplies. But that’s not all true, and the Brazil Purge was a reflection of the chaotic morals that some can people possess.

When police in the State of Espirito Santo took a six-day strike over work conditions and wages in February 2017, it was a sign to many that people could do whatever they wanted to with no repercussions whatsoever.

In one city alone, just after a few days, there were a reported 52 murders, thousands of cases of rape, theft, shops being robbed, vehicles being torched and people fighting with guns and machetes on the streets attacking and killing whoever they please. It was an awful scene not only for Brazil but for humanity.

As a response to the lawlessness and chaos, the Brazilian military stormed the streets to retake control from the ungrouped criminals and restore order and discipline.

To survive the Brazil Purge, many locals stayed in their homes during the entire ordeal. They boarded up their windows, kept all lights off, and sat armed with whatever they had in their house listening to the screams and gunshots in the streets outside. One of the locals said that things were “absolutely crazy” and that there were “people running around with guns in pretty populated areas, dozens of people stealing from malls, even dead bodies on streets”.

Because of the complete lawlessness, schools, parks, and health services closed. This meant that there was no way any injuries, medical treatments or vaccinations for a yellow fever outbreak which Espirito Santo residents were battling with.

This goes to show that if the purge really did happen, there would be much more at stake than just violence and disorder, as services have to close down. Hospitals, food supply lines and other necessities that we need every day would have to shut down due to security concerns, which would cripple a city, state, or country, months after social order has been regained.

Where did the Purge come from?

The idea of the Purge isn’t new. In fact, the idea of the Purge comes from the concept of two different ancient traditions that had lawlessness and social disorder as their overarching themes.

Saturnalia – The first tradition was the Roman festival Saturnalia. The festival was a week-long carnival that allowed illegal activities, as well as role reversals where the servants of that time were served by their masters. During the festival, not only were ritualistic sacrifices made to gods, but it was also a holiday from all forms of work. This meant that schools were closed, courts were not open, and no enforcement of rules was able to be carried out.

The role reversal side of the festival enabled slaves to mistreat their masters which I am sure many servants enjoyed the experience of. Every slave had the utmost freedom to do and say whatever they wanted. This kept with the overall theme of the festival, which was to turn the current world upside down and cause chaos by reversing everyday norms and practices.

Krypteia – Another tradition, which I believe has more of a similarity to the Purge’s theme, is the Krypteia tradition of Spartans. Specially chosen Spartan men who had excelled in their training were instructed to go out into the Helot countryside and surrounding villages and kill any person they wanted and take any food they pleased. The tradition’s reasoning was to prevent the threat of rebellion and to keep the Helot population in control.

If these pre-18th Century festival were to be revived today, we would ultimately see something similar to the Purge happen and a recreation of the Brazil Purge. But what if the purge was real? Let’s take a look at what would happen.

What if the purge was real?

As far as the film series goes, ‘The Purge’ is a fictitious ‘civic tradition’ embedded in America’s constitution by a political party that goes by the name of “The New Founding Fathers of America”. Their rise to power was during a financial collapse where poverty, crime, and national debt was at its highest. In the films, the Purge is a tradition that benefits the nation’s health by greatly decreasing crime rates, unemployment, a strong economy through the purchase of weapons and home security, and population control.

Now don’t forget, this is only a movie. But what if the purge was real? While Brazil’s Purge was unorganized and started without much notice, the purge in real life would be quite different and as an organized and calendered event, is something that would allow for more preparation and leadup.

What would happen before the purge?

If the purge was to happen, in the buildup before it people would stock up on supplies and protection. This was one of the resounding factors that the film hit on with the purge’s economic success – gun sales and home security purchases would go through the roof in the weeks and months ahead of the event. I have no doubt that preppers would have already stockpiled what they need well ahead of an event such as this, and would be the best prepared to keep their family safe.

is the purge real

Businesses – I imagine businesses would need the most preparation for a purge event. While violence on the streets is one of the biggest issues, looting and theft would come in at a very close second, as all laws are removed. This means that if you are a shop owner, you would have to consider using high-impact proof and bulletproof windows with exterior sheeting protection.

Governments would also have a responsibility to safeguard banks. In a world without rules or laws, while most of the criminals are committing violent crimes, the more organized criminals will be targeting financial institutions in an attempt to make a high monetary gain in their 12-hour lawless window.

Community meetings – While businesses and government buildings will be focussing on their structural protection and defenses, community organizations will group together to have a plan of attack in regards to what they will be doing during the purge. The film shows that most people have a hidden agenda and that their true inner-criminal nature comes out during the purge, I believe that a higher amount of people have decent morals and would rather stay safe than to be on the streets looking for potential victims.

The community meetings would no doubt focus on the concern of safety for those who are more vulnerable in society. This includes the elderly (retirement centers and elderly living on their own), children and animals.

Bugging out – If there were to be an event like this, there will be mass traffic jams of people leaving city areas, looking to escape to the wilderness or safe country areas with few, or no other, people around. There is no doubt that the worst possible place you could be in during a societal breakdown or a purge would be an urban or city environment. The more people there are around you, the more likely you are to be the victim of a criminal.

how to survive the purge

As with all rules of bugging out of an event, leaving early is the wisest decision. Packing the car and driving out of the city just before a purge starts will leave you stuck in thick, congested traffic surrounded by hundreds, if not thousands, of anxious and stressed people looking to protect themselves and their families in a lawless world. Instead, planning a much earlier departure would be a safer bet.

Where would the best place be to bug out of a purge? Out of the country, of course. If a purge is only country-wide, that means the lawlessness only applies to that area. Ideally, situating yourself in an embassy or international airport would afford you the protection of international, not domestic laws. However, as social chaos ensues, I’d much prefer to be out of the country, or at least out of a busy area.

Now while these are some of the preparations to keep yourself safe, or your business secure, in a possible purge, there will also be meticulous planning and preparation done by the people who would benefit the most out of it – the criminals and gangs. Most organized crime syndicates and gangs would have predetermined spots they would hit, whether they would be opposing gang-owned territories, common enemies, or financial institutions.

What would happen during the purge if it was real?

The streets would be quiet for the most part. There are, of course, areas where it would be busier. Most of the busy areas would be ones where we already see much of the violence on the news, such as gang member-dominant areas and low-socioeconomic regions. The violence (statistically already high) would just increase in those areas.

For more wealthier neighborhoods, families would instead focus on staying indoors and safe, rather than risking their lives on the street for the sake of being a criminal. If the purge was real the choice would be simple, if you want to be a criminal you would put yourself at risk of being killed by another criminal. If you want to stay safe, staying in a secure home, or bugging out, would greatly increase your chances of survival rather than getting involved in a gunfight.

What about after the purge?

While the purging in the franchise films works well as people slip back into their normal, non-criminal mindset and claims it helps the nation, in reality, this would not be the case for people or society.

For people in the purge – For the people that have participated in the purge, it is not just a paintball game where you put down your gun at the ring of a timer. If your family or friends have been killed by someone there is a natural tendency to seek revenge and continue the fight, whether it is legal or not. This is definitely the case for gangs who are at war with each other. There is no peace treaty at the sound of the horn. Instead, they will most likely continue warring on well and truly after a purge has finished.

For the more civil individuals that participated in the purge, there would be no trust in a community for them. In a true lawless society, we would see some people change and become deviants, anarchists and sadistic as their true inner-nature is revealed. The same applies to the concept of the purge. Those nice neighbors of yours might be true inner criminals, and after seeing that, how could you, or anyone else in a community, accept those people knowing full well that they cannot be trusted at all?

For businesses – I imagine no matter what precautions a lot of businesses take, nothing can withstand a truck driving through the front door allowing the complete looting of the business. During natural disasters and protests, damaged stores would generally be able to claim much of the damage and stolen or missing contents through their business insurance, however with the purge, insurance agencies would either have a clause rendering purge-related claims invalid, or many insurance agencies would go bankrupt with the number of claims they would have to pay out.

For emergency services and medical facilities – Medical admissions is where the aftermath of the purge would be felt the most, as people start checking themselves in with gunshot wounds, knife wounds and other things resulting from the night before’s activities. This would create an immense over-demand on the medical system with the country’s hospitals not having enough space, staff, or supplies to cater for all of the injuries and casualties a purge has caused.

Financial – While the film’s purge was formed as a way to boost the country’s economy, in fact, a 12-hour purge would likely cripple the economy. Trucks would stop driving, supplies would stop moving and trading, and systems would stop functioning as workers would all be pent up in their homes waiting for the criminals to have their free-roam period. Then, as the country resumes trading, it would be slapped with an enormous bill as the country goes into recovery crisis mode with emergency services dealing with the cleanup, public works repairing public property, and businesses out of operation leaving a high rate of unemployment. This would cripple a country’s services, economy and productivity rate and a reason why a purge would never happen.

How would you survive the purge?

Okay, so let’s face it, whatever government is present, there will never be such a system as the purge. It just won’t happen. But that’s not saying that something similar can’t happen, as we saw in Brazil. Instead, what is more likely to happen is lawlessness during a crisis. So how would you survive a purge scenario? Here’s some simple tips.

Don’t be there – No matter what the circumstance, get out of dodge and go somewhere safe and well ahead of time. Doing this early ensures that you don’t get caught in the congested traffic with everyone else getting out, or that you are blocked by criminals eager to start early. Instead, leave at least a few days, if not a week, early and have the supplies to last you an extended amount of time longer than just the set period.

If you have no option but to stay during a purge or chaotic society, there are some things you can do to increase your chances of survival.

Stay indoors – In an event where criminals are in the streets doing whatever they want, your best bet of survival is to hide and stay indoors. The priority is to make sure your home is secure, but not so secure that you have high fences, barbed wire and security cameras all the way around, as that just creates more of an incentive for criminals to see what is behind all of that security. Instead, using more ‘grey man’ home security techniques, as well as reinforcing any entry points to your home from the inside will work as a much more efficient type of security.

Hide even further – If you have a hidden attic, basement, or a wardrobe that is hard to find, hide in that. Having that extra level of invisibility when criminals are doing a quick search of your house could be enough for them to conduct a search and deem the house as clear.

Have something to defend with – If it’s a person carrying a weapon, you can’t fight it barehanded. Simple home defense items are kitchen instruments or garage tools that are able to cut or bludgeon an intruder.

Stay away from the safe places – If you have to leave the home, don’t go to a place you think would be safe. Essentially, safe places such as shelters, schools, police stations and food halls will be fishing nets for criminals waiting for desperate people to come. The best idea is to avoid any type of public place or place where people gather, altogether. Instead, move further out of town or away from central areas and stick to the back roads and quieter areas.

Would you survive the purge?

If a purge was to happen in the country, it would signify to me that it’s time to buy a one-way ticket and leave that place until the government sorts itself out. Thankfully, we can all remain assured that an event such as the purge is only going to stay in the movies.

But as we have seen in the Brazil Purge, similar scenarios can, and do, happen. So if the purge was real, do you think you would survive?
